annandale House

Private Residence, sydney NSW

About

Behind it’s modest street facade, the Annandale House is an architectural masterclass in creating space on a very compromised and limited block of land. Designed by Caroline Pidcock and built in the 1990’s, we were invited to complete an overhaul on the interiors in 2015. The brief was to improve function through smart design solutions and to establish an aesthetic that would enhance the existing design elements. Fast forward to 2023 and we were invited back to rework the living space so the owners could install a much longed for wood burning fire. Complimenting the previous renovation and injecting new ideas has resulted in a wonderfully balanced space that feels as though it was part of the original design.
